BuildASign custom decals are digitally printed on a durable, water resistant vinyl material. We offer 2 different styles to ensure that, regardless of your project, we’ve got you covered! Our Opaque Decals use a 4oz vinyl material and adhere strongly to surfaces like a sticker! Our Clear Decals use a 3oz transparent vinyl material with a medium adhesive and can be removed without leaving marks on your window. With our clear decals, we give you the option to adhere the design side to a window for an inside cling that can be viewed properly from the outside!

Stress-Free Decal Application and Display

Before you affix your custom decal to its intended surface, it is important that you wash the area with mild soap and water to remove any dirt or residue. Pat the area down with a towel or microfiber cloth to ensure it is fully dry before applying your custom window decal.

Tip: Use a thin plastic material (like a credit card) to smooth out any air bubbles in your custom decal as you slowly apply it to the surface of your vehicle or window.

Our Opaque Decals offer a backside adhesive only, which means you will apply it to the outside of a window like a sticker. Clear Decals provide you with the option to select which side you would like the adhesive to be applied onto. Backside adhesive is a great option for tinted glass or walls, we recommend this if you have window tint. Frontside adhesive works well for use inside a store window or untinted car windows.

Keep in mind that custom vinyl decals cannot be removed to reapply. If you are looking for a re-usable, repositionable window sticker, check out our Window Clings! These use static electricity to adhere to their surface instead of an adhesive.
